Cleaning your lenses regularly is an important and often overlooked aspect of wearing corrective eyeglasses. Your lenses should be washed at least once a day with warm soapy water, followed by a thorough hand-drying with a paper towel. Properly washing your eyeglasses everyday will help deter the build-up of grime and dirt around the edges of your lenses, and allow you to use your lens cloth as it is meant to be – as an emergency cleaning utility.
